Our Partners

Stanford University Persuasive Technology Lab
Manor Labs and the City of Manor are proud launch partners with Peace Dot, an initiative by Stanford University's Persuasive Technology Lab.
About Peace Dot
Launched in October 2009, PeaceDot’s goal is simple: persuade any individual, organization or corporation with a website to create a peace subdomain that spotlights what they are doing to help promote peace in the world. So far, over 50 sites ranging from Facebook to the Dalai Lama Foundation, SourceForgeto CouchSurfing, in multiple languages have created peace dot pages around the world.
The Peace Dot initiative seeks to establish a circle of organizations who are leading the way in building the antecedents to peace. Key values include:
- The belief that peace is possible
- Empathy
- Meeting basic needs
- Tolerance
Within the City of Manor we believe government that serves its people well is key to promoting a stable, more peaceful community. Working together, individuals, organizations and communities can progress toward a goal of world peace in 30 years.
